Welcome to the website of Lincoln Hockey Club

Lincoln H C train on Thursday nights (7.00pm) at the North Kesteven Sports Centre, Moor Lane, North Hykeham. Should anybody wish to join the club then please come down to the Astro at the sports centre and make yourself known to coaches, Tony Perrin, Pete Rushmere and Paul Hamnett.

At the start of this season it was decided to move back to the Lindum Sports Club for after match teas and beverages as we now play our home games at Yarborough Leisure Centre on Riseholme Road, Lincoln. Plans are ahead to bring hockey back to The Lindum with its own synthetic turf hockey pitch, once the Rugby club have moved on to pastures new. Excitring times for Lincoln hockey Club are not very far away.

This club is open to any prospective new member who wishes to play at a better standard of hockey than they currently may be playing at club level. We also welcome any better players who wish to take things steadier this year without all the hassle of National League or top Premier League hockey and all the travelling that you can suffer with at that level.

Lincoln 1sts (captained by Jon Rigby) play in the Premier Division of the Yorkshire League and the remaining two men's sides play in lower divisions of the same league, the mens 2nds (captained by Paul Hamnett) play in Yorkshire Division 3, and the 3rd team (captaincy still up for grabs!) play in Division 6.

The women's 1st (captained by Becky Gamble) play in Division 2 North West in the East Hockey League and the 2nd team (captained by Caz May) are the sole standard bearers for the club in the local Lincolnshire Green League.

So, all in all, exciting prospects for all the teams in the club, but we do need more new members this season. Don't sit on the fence mulling over whether or not you should move clubs or stay as you are. Come down and join in our training sessions and see for yourself at first hand why Lincoln Hockey Club is a club that wants to move forward. You will be most welcome.
